HOUSE
Photos are often the method to preserve and reconstitute
memories. Accumulated over time, they’re recalled in a non-linear,
spacial time-line. The house acts as an ‘achor’ for life’s journeys
and a holding base for this layering of memories.
The sculpture of these recollections, reflect images specific from
my past, in the hopes of triggering personal memories for the viewer.
The reference to the house is intended to continue that thought
process, not specifically the structure, but more the experiences
within the home.

“To localize a memory in time is merely a matter for the biographer
and only corresponds to a sort of external history, for external use,
to be communicated to others.”
The Poetics of Space, Gaston Bachelard
